General Terms and Conditions

Payment of accounts – Please be advised that a valid credit/debit card must be provided at the time of booking to secure your reservation and payment will be taken from your card 7 days before arrival. No charges will be made prior to arrival unless you are booking a non-refundable rate in which case the full chargewill apply. Our current accepted payment methods include cash, Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept company, personal cheques or American Express. No reduction is made for temporary absence, meals not taken, nor for premature departure forany reason.
Group bookings of 12 or more, full payment will be required 28 days before arrival and a minimum of 28 days cancellation policy will apply, which non refundable or transferrable.

Cancellations - Our standard cancellation policy is set out as following - all cancellations made a minimum of 7 days before arrival will be charged 100% of the total booking value. This a non refundable fee and is also not transferable.
All guests are strongly advised to arrange suitable holiday insurance cover costs in the event of unforeseen circumstances and cancellations. This is strictly a non negotiable policy and it is your responsibility to take out insurance cover.

We are strictly non smoking hotel, any guests breaching this policy will be fined £50 and may be asked to vacate the hotel.


We do not take hen or stag parties or any other single sex parties. Please do not book on the internet as we have the right to refuse.


Any damage to the room or other areas of the hotel accidental or purposely will be charged to the guests credit card.


The hotel is not responsible for any of the guests belongings unless you ask us to place them in the hotel safe. We expect guests to take care of their bags and electronic gadgets in the public areas.


We ask guests to respect other guests who may be asleep and keep noise levels to minimum after 11.30 pm.
